What began as an alter ego our founder, Jay Bizzze, had adopted in 2021, slowly and meticulously transformed into his first full-length project. As a child, one of Jay’s favorite characters in the Bible was Samson, but as he grew up and matured in his understanding of God’s Word, he began to realize that Samson was not only a man of great strength but also a man of great weakness. If you were to sum up Samson’s weaknesses into 3 key areas, it would be lust, pride, and temptation, and it was these same 3 issues that Jay struggled with as well.

Under the moniker of YOUNG SAMSON, Jay Bizzze wrote his debut album to share his personal struggles with these three issues through the lens of Samson’s story that’s revealed in Judges 13-16, and how by repentance and the power of the Holy Spirit he’s able to overcome them, and how you can too.
