The front of this statement piece is a reminder of God’s abundant supply of grace. Although Samson made terrible decisions throughout his life, God still used him to carry out His divine plans. Other than the book of Judges, Samson is not mentioned anywhere else in the Bible other than in Hebrews chapter 11, commonly known as the Hall of Faith, where he is commended for his faith alongside the all-time greats in the Bible like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and countless others. Samson’s life is a comforting reminder that “just because you sinned, doesn’t mean it’s over.”

But you can’t have the peace of the words on the front of this T-shirt, without the sobering reminder of repentance on the back, because there’s no restoration without repentance (Jeremiah 15:19).

The back of this T-shirt is inspired by the central theme of the book of Judges, from which Samson’s story is found. The recurring theme in the book of Judges follows this cycle: Israel sins against God, God punishes them and allows them to be conquered by other nations, Israel cries out to the Lord for help, and when Israel repents, God sends a judge to deliver them, and then sadly, Israel goes back to sinning against God, and this loop continues. We pray this T-shirt will be a physical reminder to you and others to continually break the cycle of sin that so easily entangles you (Hebrews 12:1).
